Welcome to the Merimarkkinat location map. Click on the button above to open the map, which will give you an overview of the event area as well as the various streets and theme areas. Each area has its own character and role as part of the Merimarkkinat event. The areas are designed to serve both vendors and visitors as smoothly as possible.
Meripäiväkatu
Meripäiväkatu, or Kauppakatu, forms the starting point of the entire Merimarkkina area and is one of the main venues for the event. Meripäiväkatu leads directly to the main harbor, the heart of Kotkan Merimarkkinat. There are a total of 10 sales points in the area, which are prominently located and offer excellent accessibility to the entire flow of visitors to the event.
Satamakuja & Laiturikuja
These two streets are the largest and busiest in the area. They offer the most vendor spots and are suitable for a wide range of activities. A total of 12 2 x 2 meter spots are reserved for artisans in their own area. The other spots on these streets are 4 x 4 meters in size. Food vendors must reserve two 4 x 4 meter spots so that they can set up their own seating area in connection with their sales.
Majakkakuja
Majakkakuja is a prime location for food vendors. The area has a shared food terrace organized by the event, so food vendors can only reserve one spot on Majakkakuja. This spot includes a sales area without the vendor having to arrange seating separately. Majakkakuja is located in a central area with plenty of foot traffic and lots of activity throughout the day.
Meripäiväkylä
Meripäiväkylä is a large square with plenty of space, traffic, and activities for all ages. The area offers many activities, programs, and open meeting places. Food vendors in this area are required to reserve two spots so that there is enough space for a dining area in connection with their sales.
